My unfinished quilt, which I've been hand stitching for the past three years, represents many things. Romantically, it acts as a catalyst for my imagination. I think of a possible future family, continually charging this blanket -- this object, with history and memory absorbed. Simultaneously, spurning ideas of a linage and a future that will exist beyond. How intimate, is a blanket.
